Enjoy an afternoon of dramatic readings on Saturday, February 13 at 2:00 PM at the Highland Park Public Library, 31 North Fifth Avenue.
Local actors will perform from Off Broadway Playwright and Screenwriter Neil Selden's work. Neil and his wife Lee Selden recently wrote and produced their first full length feature film, /Final Gifts/ and are working on a second. This one is an adaptation of /Someone's Comin' Hungry/, his 1968 off-Broadway show directed by Bruce Paltrow and starring Cleavon Little and Blythe Danner.
His plays, /Sam Dead/, /Ocean in a Teacup/, /Car/ and /Rain Child/ have been performed at the Berlin Festival, Roundabout Theatre in New York and other major theaters.
Selden’s book, The Great Lakeside High Experiment appeared on national television. He is working on a new play, /A Church of Lovely Lies/.
